These aren’t inherently bad things, but I love natural dyes and thought it would be nice to have some natural alternatives.\n\u003cbr\u003e\nWill it rub off on your fingers like new jeans? Will it fade? Yes, it's natural! If you don’t like that, give the tape a soak or a wash before use. Whatever you want. To me, these are more beautiful than gems and precious metal. They have an indescribable quality to them - the natural dye is deep inside the grain. Everything anyone ever loved about ivory, these have and more - and they aren't the result of hunting and death.\n\u003cbr\u003e\nWe use them for zip pulls, I use them to decorate my bike, my keychain. You could make a bracelet from them - they're gorgeous. Why are they lucky? We don't know. The guy who makes our necklaces adds little wooden beads to them and told us once they're a kind of blessing, and they bring you luck. When I enquired he said the tree was holy (makes sense) and the luck part he just made up but as long as you believe it it makes it real.
