Surly ECR for demo in the New Forest

We’re just about to receive a fresh resident demo bike- a Surly ECR.
ECR stands for ‘escape common reality’ and that really reflects the character of this purpose built bikepacking monster!
It’s huge 29+ wheel size is it’s main eye-catching feature, but a deeper look into the geometry reveals many more subtle features that dial in it’s ride. Features such as a low bottom bracket to keep things nippy on the road/planted when descending off road, and a surprisingly short back end which means that although this looks like a plodder, it accelerates surprisingly quickly.
