E-Cargo bikes are the future!
After using one to run my 4 year old the nursery I quickly realised that I could do the 7 mile round trip quicker than I could in the car. I discovered cycle paths that I didn't know existed, some were slightly longer than the more direct roads route, but I didn't mind, I had 85 NM of torque behind me and could ride at a consistent 15 mph no matter what the wind was doing or the traffic!
And the best bit, we were having so much fun, my son absolutely loves it.

Our cargo-carrying Longtail Hybrid is built with practicality in mind. Powered by Bosch's fourth-generation Cargo Line motor, it's designed to handle a load of up to 200kg in total. A weight of 60kg can be carried on the sturdy, extended rear carrier, which can accept two standard carrier bags per side and features elastomer suspension. There's an optional extension to allow the fitting of a standard Eurobox, an available headset-mounted front carrier and even an optional downtube carrier for extra load-carrying potential. If you opt for the single battery version there's also a small, lockable storage compartment in the downtube. Is there a better, traffic-beating way of transporting loads around town? We don't think so...
