Jody's birthday ride 2023

Jody’s Birthday ride (organised by Rusty Sam) is a ride over on the Southdown’s with the aim to raise a bit of money to help Jody and his family and to celebrate Jody’s birthday.
If you don’t know, Jody was diagnosed with a grade 4 brain tumor on New Years eve 2020, he hasn’t been able to work since.
The man is an absolute beast, he has been riding, sea swimming and generally cracking on since his diagnosis, and the doctors have been amazed with his progress.
A week before the ride this year, he suffered a seizure, which left him immobile down one side of his body and unable to communicate, but in classic Jody style, he turned up at the pub mid ride with his family and proceeded to pump out press ups, drink pints of guiness (non alcoholic) hug and chat to everyone as if nothing had happened! he continues to amaze all of us.
