Custom Builds - Terms & Conditions

While we strive to make the experience as enjoyable and seamless as possible, there are a few important terms and conditions to be aware of when you start on the custom-built journey with us. These help protect both you as a customer and us as a business, ensuring that everyone is on the same page throughout the process.

  1. Deposits
    • To begin work on your custom bike, we require a deposit of £300. This deposit secures your place in our build queue and allows us to spend the time necessary to begin specc’ing your dream bike.
    • In the event that the sale does not proceed, we reserve the right to retain 33% of of the deposit to cover any costs incurred. This could include and is not limited to ordered parts, time and labor spent speccing the build, or any other expenses directly related to your build.
  2. Availability of Goods
    • We strive to source all components in a timely manner, but availability is subject to change due to supply chain factors. If any part or component is delayed or out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible to discuss alternatives or revised timelines.
    • If a significant delay affects your build, we will work with you to find suitable replacement options or adjust your order as necessary.
  3. Cycle-to-Work Scheme Fees
    • While we are happy to accept Cycle-to-Work scheme vouchers, please note that an administration fee dependent on the scheme will be added to the total cost of the build. This is to cover the fees we incur when processing these vouchers, as the scheme typically deducts a percentage from the final sale.
  4. Cancellations and Non-Sale Agreements
    • If you decide to cancel your order after the build process has started, a restocking fee will apply to any components that we do not usually sell
    • For any custom bike that is built but not purchased, we reserve the right to retain the non-refundable portion of the deposit and may also resell the bike if no further communication is made within [30 days].
  5. Warranty and Repairs
    • All of our custom bikes come with a warranty on both the frame and components, typically following the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines. If a part fails due to manufacturing defects, we will assist in handling the warranty claim.
    • Any repairs, adjustments, or changes outside of the warranty terms may incur additional fees, which will be communicated upfront
  6. Returns Policy
    • Because each of our custom-built bikes is made specifically to order, we unfortunately cannot accept returns. Every bike is designed and built to meet the unique specifications and preferences of the customer, which means that once the build process is complete, it is tailored to an individual rider. As such, we are unable to resell custom bikes in the way that off-the-shelf products can be.

We encourage all customers to be sure of their choices before finalising their order, and we’re always happy to provide guidance or answer questions throughout the design process to help you make informed decisions. Our goal is to ensure that the bike we build for you exceeds your expectations, and we’ll work closely with you to achieve that.

Delivery

It is assumed that all custom-built bikes will be collected from our store. However, if shipping is required, we will provide a shipping quote once the bike has been safely packed in an appropriate box. The cost of shipping will vary depending on the destination and packaging requirements, and it will be added to the final payment. Please note that we take extra care in packaging to ensure the safe delivery of your bike, and shipping times may vary based on the courier and destination.
