What We Say...
Hammer from Africap reached out to us recently to showcase his range of cycling caps. We loved the designs and ethos and decided we wanted not just some... but ALL of them!
I think we can all agree Stan has a promising hat modelling career ahead of him
What They Say...
Inspired by a passion for travelling, cycling and fashion. AFRICAP fuses the all important cycling cap with the vibrancy and soul of African Ankara. Sourced and handmade in a variety of West African countries each cap is named after a particular region and tells it's own story.
Whether worn purely for cycling or casually on a day to day basis an AFRICAP will undoubtedly make sure it's wearer stand out.
"To be honest I started wearing cycling caps way before I even started to cycle seriously. Whilst I seldom cycle without one, I think they can be worn in almost any setting whether it be for other sports or going out for coffee or just with friends."
At AFRICAP we are keen to provide assistance alongside our developing business and we couldn't think of a better way to do this than to support amateur cycling in Sierra Leone.
AFRICAP founder Hammer is originally form the country and has been fortunate to explore Sierra Leone's mountainous terrain by bike.
"Whilst football is undoubtedly the national support there is a real boom and momentum behind cycling as a sport and also as a means of travel particularly for community health projects."
AFRICAP is partnering with Freetown based cycling clubs Flames and Lunar and will be providing mentoring services to it's members. We plan to expand the number of services in the future and hope to support the club more as they grow.
